My Erasmus+ Trip in Paphos, Cyprus
„I am incredibly happy that I had the opportunity to be part of the Erasmus+ project, and I consider it a unique chance in life. With this opportunity, I saw the interesting side of learning, visited new places, and discovered the beauties of Cyprus. I also met new people and observed the islanders’ way of life. I also formed close bonds with my colleagues. Cyprus is one of those countries that must be visited at least once in a lifetime, and I’m glad I had the chance to visit it with wonderful people. I have gathered many beautiful memories over these 3 weeks, which I will cherish dearly, as well as acquired a lot of new knowledge in the field of web design.
One of the main components of this program was the intensive course in WordPress, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. These essential platforms in web design and graphics immediately captivated me. I had the opportunity to learn from experienced teachers who shared advanced knowledge and creative techniques. I experienced the process of creating dynamic websites using WordPress and developed strong skills in graphic design, which excited and motivated me at the same time. We were encouraged by the teachers to actively participate in lessons and activities, ask questions, and collaborate with colleagues to maximize the benefits of learning, to be open to new knowledge, experiences, and cultures, which I kept in mind throughout the mobility.
Outside of class hours, I had the privilege to explore various cities and attractions in Cyprus. A remarkable experience was visiting the old town of Paphos, where I stepped into the fascinating world of history and ancient architecture, impressed by the cultural heritage of this place. Another memorable destination was Limassol, a vibrant city with a mix of culture, art, and gastronomy. I spent time exploring local markets, museums, and walking along the beautiful promenade, absorbing the lively atmosphere of this magnificent city. Our excursions also included a visit to Larnaca, where I discovered the relaxed atmosphere of the city, beautiful beaches, and had the chance to learn more about local traditions and lifestyle.
One of the most memorable experiences was exploring the stunning natural landscapes of Cyprus. I had the pleasure of visiting Coral Bay Beach, where the turquoise water and fine sand created a paradise-like setting. Additionally, I explored the Sea Caves, a rocky and picturesque area of the Cypriot coastline, and admired the natural beauty of the Blue Lagoon with its crystal-clear waters.
In conclusion, participating in the Erasmus+ project in Paphos was one of the most memorable and beneficial experiences of my life. I gained valuable knowledge in the field of web design and graphics, explored new cultures, and made new friends. This experience opened up new perspectives for me and motivated me to continuously explore and learn. I am grateful for this unique opportunity, and I am confident that the memories and lessons learned during this project will stay with me for the rest of my life.”

The friendships forged during my time in Cyprus will be cherished for a lifetime, and the memories made will forever hold a special place in my heart.
During my Erasmus Plus project in Cyprus, I had the incredible opportunity to explore the charming cities of Limassol and Larnaca. Each city offered a unique blend of history, culture, and breathtaking scenery that left an indelible mark on my Erasmus experience.
Limassol, with its picturesque old town and lively waterfront promenade, captivated me from the moment I arrived. I wandered through narrow cobblestone streets lined with colorful buildings, soaking in the rich history and vibrant atmosphere. In contrast, Larnaca greeted me with its serene coastal beauty and laid-back ambiance. The palm-lined Venus Beach was a tranquil oasis, offering crystal-clear waters and soft golden sands perfect for relaxation and reflection.
Visiting Limassol and Larnaca during my Erasmus Plus project was a journey of discovery, adventure, and cultural immersion. These vibrant cities not only enriched my academic experience but also left me with a profound appreciation for the beauty and diversity of Cypru

„It all started on 14th April when we met in the highschool yard and everyone had huge emotions. After about 4-5 hours we have finally arived at the airport. Then we pass the security check and we left Romania. In the airplane I had some emotions but after the plane took off my emotions became smaller. After 2 hours we have arrived and then we took a bus and we have finally arrived at the hotel.
In the first day I was a little bit nervous, especially I didn’t know what to expect, but Mr. Lazaros was open with us and he was respectuos. He won the trust of us really fast and it was a very good begining. Mrs. Demetra was also friendly and she always came with arguments when she was talking to us.Then in the following days we have learned many useful things in Adobe Illustrator and I really apreciate that Mr. Lazaros was vrey dedicated in what he have done.
On the first weekend we had a trip to Larnaka and it was a very beautiful experience especially I saw many touristic objectives. My favourite objective was the Saint Niholas I also enjoyed that our group was very united and we have spend a beautiful time together.
At the begining of the second week everything was much better, I adapted fast with the hotel and the surroundings. I really enjoy the ideea to make our personal blog and since the first day of the week. I had also liked the ideea about green synergy and to make a video about this subject. After we had finished our personal blogs, Mr. Lazaros evaluated at them and he explained us how to improve our websites so they could look as good as possible. This meant a lot for especially I learnt from my mistakes so I don’t repeat them in the futrue.
In that weekend I had one of the most beautiful experience of my life. We went on a trip to the Blue Lagoon with a ship. Another great thing was that we went with the jeeps from our hotels to the ship and on the road we saw many beautiful things and took amazing photos. We have finally arrived at the ship and we had a beautiful time together. We also pass by the Bath of Aphrodite. When we arrived at the Blue Lagoon we all went in the sea by the waterslide and it was avery beautfiul experience. The thing that I liked the most was the coor of the water, it looked like a turquoise. After that we have visited Adonis waterfall and the water was really cold.
The last week was a very emotional one. We had to made a business website and at the end Mr. Lazaros congratulated us. He told us do to what we like in life not what other recommend us to do. Mrs. Demetra gave us the certificates and it was very emotional. We all thanked to Mr. Lazaros and Mrs. Demetra for the time they spent with us and maybe one day we will meet again.”
My experience in Cyprus
START IT with Erasmus+
„Participating in the Erasmus project in Cyprus, specifically in Paphos, has been an incredibly enriching experience that has left a lasting impact on both my personal and professional development.
During the project, I delved into the realms of web design and WordPress, gaining new insights and practical skills that significantly improved my skills in these areas. Creating not just one, but two websites – a personal blog and a business website – provided a hands-on opportunity to apply our new knowledge in a real-world setting, solidifying our understanding and expertise.
The balance between structured learning and exploration was perfectly orchestrated. Spending four hours a day dedicated to our studies allowed us to make significant progress, leaving plenty of time to discover the vibrant culture and stunning landscapes of Cyprus. From the mystical allure of Aphrodite Rocks to the serene beauty of the Blue Lagoon. Each excursion provided a glimpse into the rich history and natural wonders of Cyprus, leaving us amazed and inspired.
However, beyond the academic and sightseeing activities, what really made this experience unforgettable was the sense of camaraderie and friendship that blossomed among us. Bonding through shared experiences, whether it was lounging on the beach, lounging by the pool or exploring the charming streets of Paphos, we formed connections that transcended borders and cultures. These moments together not only improved our interpersonal skills but also enriched our understanding of global diversity and unity.
Looking back, the Erasmus project in Cyprus not only equipped me with valuable skills and knowledge, but also provided me with cherished memories and lifelong friendships. It reaffirmed my belief in the transformative power of international collaboration and cultural exchange, transforming me into a more competent, empathetic and globally aware individual. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity and look forward to applying what I have learned to make meaningful contributions in both my personal and professional endeavors.
I hope in future I will have the opportunity to participate again at such a project maybe in another country.”

The best and greatest experience of the year
Participating in the Erasmus project has been an unforgettable journey filled with a myriad of emotions and experiences that have left an indelible mark on my life. From the very first day to the present moment, every encounter, every laughter-filled night, and every breathtaking adventure has been more exhilarating than I could have imagined.
Living with my roommates Luca, Vlad, and Antonio has been an absolute blast. Together, we turned every night into a memorable occasion, sharing stories, laughter, and creating lasting bonds. Antonio, in particular, has been a constant source of joy and camaraderie, turning ordinary moments into cherished memories.
One of the aspects I’ll miss the most about this experience is the opportunity to connect with fellow Romanians our age who were also part of the project. Whether it was playing games like 8 Ball, hide and seek, or simply enjoying each other’s company, these moments forged friendships that I know will endure beyond our time together.
The expeditions we embarked on were nothing short of extraordinary. From the thrilling safari adventure with our youthful guide who made every moment feel like an adventure, to the surreal boat trips amidst stunning vistas and picturesque islands, each outing felt like a dream come true.
Our journey Afrodita’s birthing site offered a glimpse into the mesmerizing process of new life unfolding, reminding us of the awe-inspiring miracles that abound in nature’s embrace. Exploration of Paphos unveiled a tapestry of history, culture, and tradition, as we wandered through ancient ruins, soaked in the vibrant atmosphere of local markets, and savored the flavors of traditional cuisine.
Adonis wateralls was the most beautiful waterfall I ever seen from Bigar waterfall utill today because there the gods were going to swim or anything else.
The classes led by Mr. Lazarous and Miss Demetra were not just educational; they were transformative. Beyond teaching us about web design and other technical skills, they imparted invaluable life lessons and instilled in us a sense of determination and resilience. Their infectious energy and unwavering support made each day feel like a new opportunity for growth and learning.
The Erasmus project was more than just a learning experience; it was a catalyst for personal growth and self-discovery. It provided the perfect platform to hone our skills in web design and communication, but more importantly, it gave us the chance to create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. Through shared experiences, conversations, and adventures, we discovered a universal language of empathy, understanding, and unity—a language that transcended linguistic barriers and brought us closer together as global citizens.
This experience beats all the experiences like camps or friend expeditions because here everything was free and good quality.
I will miss Cyprus and I think I will visit this country again because here are very warmly people who will love you emediatly.
Looking back, I can confidently say that this program has not only improved my English language skills but also taught me invaluable lessons about connecting with people and embracing new experiences. It’s been a journey of self-discovery, growth, and unforgettable moments that I will forever hold dear in my heart. As I bid farewell to this chapter and look toward the future, I do so with a heart full of cherished memories and a spirit emboldened by the knowledge that the best is yet to come.
„The Erasmus+ project was a truly unique opportunity that allowed me to learn, explore, and connect with amazing people. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this experience would leave a lasting impression on me.
It was my first time flying, and the view from the airplane was breathtaking, especially during sunset. Once we landed, I was impressed by how well everything was organized. The accommodation and food were excellent, and they made me feel comfortable right away.
The courses we attended were engaging and well-structured. I enjoyed the hands-on activities, which made learning fun and practical. Working in teams with people from different backgrounds helped me develop new skills and think about what I want to achieve in the future.
We also had the chance to visit some wonderful places. Larnaca, with its historic Saint Lazarus Church and beautiful harbor, was a highlight for me. Another memorable experience was the trip to the Adonis Waterfalls and the nearby villages, where we admired stunning landscapes and learned about local traditions.
The meals throughout the program were incredible – everything was fresh and delicious. It was a great way to discover the local culture through its cuisine.

„Hello my name is Lungu Mara and I want to show you my experience with the Erasmus+ program in Paphos, Cyprus along with the structured internship activities and the enriching extracurricular experiences.
My arrival in Paphos marked the beginning of an immersive exploration into the city’s rich tapestry of history and culture. From the moment I set foot in its winding streets, I was enveloped in an aura of antiquity, with each ancient ruin and Byzantine church serving as a portal to the past. These initial encounters ignited my curiosity, prompting me to delve deeper into the city’s storied heritage and fostering a profound appreciation for its cultural significance.
However, it was the vibrant community of learners within the Erasmus+ program that truly brought the city to life. Engaging with peers from diverse backgrounds, I was immersed in a dynamic environment that celebrated cultural exchange and collaborative learning. Whether we were engaged in spirited debates in the classroom or exploring the hidden gems of Paphos together, each interaction served to broaden my perspectives and deepen my understanding of the world around me.
Beyond the confines of academic pursuits, the program facilitated a series of excursions that provided further insight into Cypriot culture. A visit to Larnaca offered a glimpse into the bustling heart of the island, while leisurely days spent at Coral Bay provided a welcome respite amidst the stunning natural beauty of Cyprus’s coastline.
Amidst these cultural explorations, my participation in the structured internship activities provided a unique opportunity for hands-on learning and professional development. Guided by experienced tutors, I delved into the intricacies of web design, mastering essential tools and techniques while working on real-world projects. From creating personalized blogs to designing presentation websites, each task challenged me to push the boundaries of my creativity and technical skills, culminating in a comprehensive portfolio that showcased my growth and accomplishments.
Throughout the internship, rigorous evaluations and feedback sessions served as invaluable learning opportunities, allowing me to refine my skills and address areas for improvement. These evaluations culminated in a final presentation, where I had the opportunity to demonstrate my acquired competencies and reflect on the journey that had brought me to this point.
I don’t think I will ever forget the nights spent on the balcony with the rest of the group when we talked and had fun together.
In conclusion, my journey with the Erasmus+ program in Paphos, Cyprus, was so much more than a mere study abroad experience – it was a transformative odyssey that left an indelible mark on my soul. From the ancient ruins to the azure seas, from the vibrant culture to the lasting friendships, every moment was a testament to the power of exploration, discovery, and connection.”
„What is your thought when you hear that I was in an Erasmus+ project in Cyprus? Well, I can tell that you think is was a “relaxing holiday” when you see all the aesthetic photos and the one day trips to Larnaca and Limasol or the days spent at the beach or pool…I will be frank with you when I say that yes, we had a lot of fun, had a great time, but we also had a lot of work, projects to do, daily tasks to complete, all of them with deadlines. So I can say that in the first place we went to Cyprus to study and we were just very lucky to visit the cities around us and all the tourist attractions.
The first week we had to accommodate with the surroundings and the hosting organization and familiarized with our mentors: Mr.Lazarous and Mrs. Demetra
Mr. Lazarou was a great mentor and a good person. He was very talkative and a humorous man, someone who was comfortable to talked to, having the ability to understand us. The first thing we did with Mr. Lazarou was learning about Adobe Illustrator and make our own logos. For me, Adobe Illustrator was the best thing that I did there. I enjoyed all the hours spent on it and made my assignments with pleasure. In addition to that I learned it very fast with zero difficulties. But what helped me the most in understanding Adobe Illustrator and loving it was Mr. Lazarou. You could see all the passion that was visible when he talked about Adobe Illustrator and that he had a great time teaching us about it. He inspired me in a lot of aspects such us chasing my dreams, so that we could enjoy our lives (and he was the example for that),study and not being lazy in order to do what you want because the talent has zero results without a lot of work. And because I enjoyed working with him, I took the opportunity to take an interview as an assignment from all the Erasmus + activities that i had to choose from.
Now lets talked a little bit about Mrs. Demtra. She was a talkative person, also very passionate with the job she had, determined and had a lot of positive energy all the time we would talked. But lets not forget Mrs. Demetra’ s course. We talked about a lot of useful things such as protecting the environment, fake news and advertisements and had a final project that had to include what we learned.
When it comes to the country, I found it very beautiful, filled with good people and great nature. Having my accommodation besides the sea was a great advantage and a big pleasure because i could enjoy the sound of the sea everytime I wanted just by opening the door of the terrace every evening when it was not that cold. This would make the atmosphere more relaxing and enjoyable when me and my friend, Alexandra, were doing homework.
My time there was filled with an experience that I will never forget. After meeting a lot of people, being in a foreign country and on top of that having the opportunity to learn something that I will be using in the future, I can say that coming back from Cyprus I fell that I gained not just some information about web design, but also I learned how to appreciate me a little more, but enough to think about others. Many things happened in this journey, many things that helped me to contemplate more about myself, what I am capable of, my purpose in life and how I can change this world in something better.”
An amazing experience in Cyprus
„I had the unique opportunity to participate in a 3-week Erasmus+ IT program for web designing in Paphos, Cyprus. This experience was truly unforgettable, filled with opportunities for learning, personal growth, and exploring a new culture.
Throughout the program, I participated in interactive courses for web deisgning led by IT professionals from Cyprus. I learned about the latest trends and technologies in the industry, improved my technical skills, and gained valuable knowledge that will benefit my future career. During the mobility, at the internship company “L. Lazarou CTC” I learned various techniques for using WordPress and CSS, useful in creating and styling websites. Moreover, I improved both my digital skills and the aesthetic aspect necessary for creating a website. A fact that I can point out is that I really enjoyed the way that mr. Lazarou collaborated , motivated constantly during the mobility, and gave us many useful advices not only for IT field, but also for life in general, and the one that I adore the most is that to fallow our dreams. Moreover, I really appreciate the way that Demetra presented us why it`s important to be more sustainable and careful with our planet.
In what regards the cultural experience, I have to point out that it was amazing due to the fact that we visited many fascinating, amazing places full of history, tradition and culture, which overwhelmed me with emotion and delight, such as: Larnaca, Baths of Aphrodite, Aphrodite`s rock, Archaeological Site of Nea Paphos, Polis, and the one that I enjoyed the most, the Safari trip, where we have visited traditional villages and Adonis Waterfalls with the jeep, and the Blue Lagoon. About that trip, I have to say that the driver was very funny, but also learned us a lot of things about the island, so he did an amazing experience for us. Furthermore, I really enjoyed to discover the local people from Cyprus, who are very friendly, and helped us in many situations.
Speaking about my personal developpement, I can say that I have learned and discovered a lot of things about living in a forgein country for such a long period. In addition to all this, that experience taught me to work better in a team , to adapt quickly to changes and to make wise decisions in new and challenging situations. It gave me the opportunity not only to travel and learn, but also to grow and develop in profound ways, both personally and professionally.
In conclusion, participating in the Erasmus+ IT program in Cyprus was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I learned a tremendous amount, both professionally and personally, I made new friends and created memories that will last a lifetime, so I highly recommend this experience to all IT st”
„The Erasmus+ experience gave me the opportunity to discover a new culture, a new way of life, but most importantly, it helped me rediscover myself. I had the chance to explore a working environment that I became familiar with along the way, which opened up a multitude of knowledge horizons and greatly inspired me in terms of my academic journey and future career. The classes were conducted in a friendly and open atmosphere, with mentors guiding me throughout the mobility and providing easy-to-meet requirements. The lecturers demonstrated professionalism, tolerance, and honesty, objectively expressing their opinions regarding our work and encouraging us to freely express ourselves and pursue our goals.
Under the guidance of mentor Lazaros Lazarou, I learned how to create logos using Adobe Illustrator, edit photos using Adobe Photoshop, and build professional websites using WordPress or CSS. But above all, he taught us how to pursue our ambitions.
Togheter with mentor Demetra Panaretou, we learned how to appreciate the surrounding nature and use methods to conserve it. With the help of the platforms presented, we were able to create our own videos on the proposed topic, which will later be included on the website created by Ms. Demetra. All these learning experiences have shaped us professionally and prepared us for a career in the digital world, as well as the responsibilities that await us once we mature.
The professional training program was complemented by cultural and recreational activities that relaxed and uplifted us. Archaeological sites, landscapes, the blue sea, and walks in the city’s port are just a few of the things that “colored” the experience and left a lasting impression. The island’s characteristic weather was perfect for exploring the interesting places in the area, and at the end of each day, we were left with beautiful memories. The observed landscapes were captured in hundreds of photos to remind us later of this unique opportunity we had. Without a doubt, the most interesting excursion was the cruise to Blue Lagoon, where we could observe the birth place of Aphrodite,as well as the crystal-clear water where we could swim. The memories that we made while visiting these tourist attractions will be cherished forever.
In conclusion, the “Start It with Erasmus+” experience was a unique journey, perhaps even the most beautiful in my life, through which I was able to achieve remarkable professional results and create memories that I will cherish forever.”
Memories in Motion
„Exploring mobility in Cyprus, I discovered a world full of opportunity and inspiration, where technology blends harmoniously with the natural beauty of the island. During my stay in Paphos, I had the privilege of learning and experiencing the use of essential digital tools such as WordPress, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. This experience opened my eyes to the creative and technical potential of these platforms, allowing me to create engaging personal blogs and develop a website for a local business.
While in Paphos, I experienced a diverse range of feelings and emotions. The atmosphere full of history and culture captivated me and the impressive landscapes left me speechless. From the enchanting view of the Mediterranean Sea to the ancient ruins, every corner of the city was an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
Excursions to destinations such as the Blue Lagoon, Larnaca and Port Paphos were truly memorable. In the Blue Lagoon, I was mesmerized by the crystal clear waters and rich marine biodiversity. Swimming among colorful fish and coral reefs, I felt a deep connection with nature and memories that will stay with me forever.
In Larnaca, I had the opportunity to discover more about Cyprus’ rich cultural heritage by exploring historical sites and fascinating museums. Every step on these history-laden lands was a journey through time, giving me a deeper insight into the past and the identity of this place.
Paphos Harbor was another impressive destination where I had the opportunity to enjoy the delicious local gastronomy and the vibrant atmosphere of the harbor. Admiring the elegant yachts and the seagulls flying over the water, I felt that time slows down and that every moment becomes more precious in this oasis of beauty.
This experience united us all in a way we never could have. I would not have thought that we could get so close to each other. This experience helped us to make friends with people from other cities in Romania. I think it is a plus that we were accommodated from so many cities in the same place, because in our free time we managed to get to know each other and share experiences.
The end was sad, but these 3 weeks were unforgettable, I made many friendships and beautiful memories. I will definitely miss the breakfast we ate together, the evenings spent on the hotel terrace, playing games, listening to music, the evening walks.
Overall, my mobility experience in Cyprus was an incredible and fulfilling one. From learning new digital skills to exploring the natural and cultural beauty of the island, this trip has given me priceless memories and life lessons that I will always carry with me.”
„A MOMENT LASTS FOR SECONDS BUT THE MEMORIES LASTS FOREVER”
My Beautiful Erasmus+ Experience
„As I arrived there, I felt very tired because of the flight but excited at the same time, for the journey that just started, as I steped on the cypriot land.
At a very late hour, after the 2 hour bus ride, I saw for the first time the hotel that will be my home for 3 weeks. The check-in process was a bit long but the tiredness was maybe the reason.
First day, I woke up fresh and curious to find what our tutor’s methods of teaching are, what kind of person he is and how the lessons will be, if I will or will not understand the information that I will need to learn. The first impressions I had were great, I liked almost everything, even though all of us needed to take an initial test. After the courses, we visited and explored the seaside near us, took some photos and saw the sunset.
The next few days, the courses were very interractive, the assigned homework were practical so the hard work I did felt quick because I liked the tasks. We spend most of the evenings exploring the city or going to the beach.
On Saturday, we had a trip to various touristic attractions. The attractions that impressed me the most were Petra tou Romiou ( also known as Aphrodite’s Rock) and the city of Larnaca. The first attraction made me feel very relaxed and I found myself admiring the rocks for a small time, the city of Larnaca and it’s arhitecture and buildings surprised me in a good way, more specifically the of Church of Saint Lazarus because the interior and the story behind the life of Saint Lazarus was very interesting.
Week one was not only about the cypriot culture but mostly about the accomodation process and the courses. With Mr. Lazarou we ediscovered and understood one popular and important appliation: Adobe Illustrator that is usually confused with Adobe Photoshop, an application that Mr. Lazarou presented us the next week for a short time. We had many tasks to do, for example: a logo, a flayer, using our new information and knowledge teached by Mr. Lazarou in a friendly way. Mrs. Demetra, the other teacher, tryed to raise our interest in the enviroment and climate change domain and how people can prevent the harm we all do to nature.
The next week, I felt that I have formed my routine and I started to fell just like home because of the evenings in which we mostly spent our time visiting the Coral Bay beach, I felt like in a holiday half of the day and like in school the other half.
At the courses, we learned Adobe Photoshop the first day and then, Mr. Lazarou introduced us to WordPress and we spent the rest of the week working on our own websites.
In order to create the websites, we first learned a bit of Xampp and how a database can be created, how to install templates, plugins. Mr. Lazarou helped us to solve the problems we encountered in doing the asigned homework, so I did everything with passion and the final results overcame my expectations.
On Saturday, we took one of the best trips of my life because we visited many attractions with different vehicles and because I had a very good time with my new friends. My favourite moment was when we went with the boat to the Blue Lagoon.
The final week came and I had only one plan: to enjoy everything as best I can, to learn and to visit the remaining attractions of Paphos, in order to make more life-long memories.
With Mr. Lazarou and Mrs. Demetra, we finished our webistes and got evaluated on the last day, the results were pleasing to everyone. We said goodbye to eachother or as Mr. Lazarou said: „ See you when I see you” .
Before we went back home, we had a last trip to Limassol, the second biggest city in the greek part of Cyprus. The port was mostly surrounded by modern arhitecture, the green zone near the sea was full of coffee shops, one more luxurios that the other.
In conclusion, the Erasmus+ experience brought me the joy of exploring a different country and culture, made me some of the best memories I have, thaught me the base of graphic design and a few life advices that will help me in the future. As a final word, I am very greatful for this oportunity.”
„My name is Socaciu Antonio-Remigiu, I am sixteen years old and I am a student at Colegiul National “Grigore Moisil” in Tenth grade, I was demanded by my teacher to write this testimonial on my own, without Chat GPT+.
This Erasmus+ odyssey has been a catalyst for growth and understanding. Through collaborative learning and cultural immersion, I have expanded my horizons and cultivated a deeper appreciation for diversity.
Guided by Mr Lazaros and Mrs. Demetra we dived in the art of web designing, using tools like WordPress, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and even Xampp for local host servers. Mr Lazaros teached us his ways to make websites look better. I personally invited him to a coffee with only us, the students.
Yet, our Erasmus+ adventure was not confined to the classroom. Amidst the pursuit of knowledge, we forged bonds of friendship and shared in moments of sheer joy. One unforgettable escapade involved the serendipitous encounter with a tarantula, a moment etched in our memories as a testament to the unexpected wonders of our journey.
The project in its entirety, wasn’t all about the studying and working, but also founding new friendships, even new relationships. We all had a great time together, we played Waterpolo, water Volleyball, hide and seek, game of tag, and much more! My favorite activity was playing 8 Ball Pool.
We’re totally tourists in every sense of the word! Our teachers didn’t just stick to the classroom routine; they made sure we explored every nook and cranny, even taking us to cool spots like the Aphrodite beach. It was like being on a never-ending adventure with our awesome guides!
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly thank the Erasmus+ program the teachers that, Mr. Lazaros, and Mrs. Demetra for their unwavering dedication to education and experiential learning. This transformative experience has left an indelible mark on my life, shaping me into a more knowledgeable, empathetic, and adventurous individual”
„As a member of this Erasmus+ project I am very proud to say that this experience was one that I would never forget. When I arrived the weather was perfect and for the rest of the mobility as well.
It was the first time I travelled by plane and also the first time I ever been to a foreign country. On our way we’ve seen cities like Antalya, Istanbul and we’ve also seen the Danube. We’ve also seen the sunset from the sky and it was very beautiful.
I will never forget how when we finally arrived at the hotel, after a long journey, I laid in the bed and I fell asleep in a split of second. On the first day we were all amazed about the delicious food we found at the hotel.
I really enjoyed the courses, due to the fact that the environment we worked in and our tutors. It was really nice to learn something and have fun at the same time. Also I think I found interesting the apps we used and it really made me think more about what I want to do in the future.
We also went on some trips around the island. Firstly we visited Aphrodite’s Rock. Sadly that day was a cloudy one and we couldn’t have a swim around the rock. After that we visited Larnaca, the city where our plane from Romania landed. There we saw the Church of St. Lazarus and the Larnaca Main Harbor. It was really beautiful there and since it was a hot day, I had a caramel and Oreo McFlurry that tasted so good.
On a sunny Sunday we went on a safari with some Jeeps that took us to beautiful places around the island. The driver was so nice and so funny. He took us to Polis in the harbor, where a boat took us to the Blue Lagoon, a place where we swimmed in the crystal blue sea. After that we went to the Adonis Waterfalls. On our way we saw traditional villages, banana, avocado and olive plantations and a lot of nice sightseeings.
On the last day we visited Limassol where it was very hot and we decided to taste a local Gyros. It was the best gyros I ever ate and I would pay a lot to taste something like this again. I also feel bad that I didn’t try earlier so I would’ve known.
Finally I can say that this was a experience I will never forget and I would love to have again.”
